1896

For over 125 years, Bank of Brodhead has been built on a foundation of trust, integrity, and commitment. We're proud to have played a vital role in shaping the communities we serve, while also supporting our customers, employees, and investors. These are the values that Vault.Bank has been built upon.

1980

Over time, shifting societal demands and technological advancements have transformed the way people handle their finances. In the early days, our organization pioneered a revolutionary innovation: the drive-up window, which debuted at our corporate headquarters in 1980. By allowing customers to conduct transactions from the comfort of their vehicles, we significantly accelerated our service delivery.

2002

When we created the bankofbrodhead.com website, the 24/7-access feature was particularly beneficial for customers who had non-traditional schedules or were located in remote areas with limited banking hours.

2023

Our President and CEO Michael J. Olson made the decision to expand our reach to offer more services to customers beyond our traditional community banking model. By launching a digital bank, we are able to leverage digital technology to provide a more modern and convenient banking experience for our customers.

2024

The launch of Vault.Bank's mobile app has revolutionized the way people manage their finances. With the app, individuals can now access their financial accounts from anywhere, at any time, providing unparalleled convenience and transparency. The app's user-friendly interface allows users to log in using a combination of secure credentials, including username and password, as well as advanced biometric authentication methods like fingerprint or facial recognition.

2025

In 2025, Vault.Bank continued to grow as a modern digital banking platform backed by the 129-year legacy of Bank of Brodhead. We expanded our products and services, enhanced our digital banking experience, and introduced new tools designed to make banking simpler, safer, and more convenient. While our technology continues to evolve, our commitment to personalized service, trusted relationships, and putting customers first remains unchanged.In 2025, we expanded our product lineup with the introduction of our Demand Account—a modern alternative to traditional checking that offers the flexibility of everyday banking without paper checks. With a highly competitive rate, our Demand Account quickly became one of the top-performing options in its category. We also strengthened our presence across Wisconsin through a partnership with the University of Wisconsin–Madison Athletics program, helping introduce the Vault.Bank brand to communities throughout the state. To support the next generation of savers and spenders, we launched our Minor Debit Account program for teens ages 13–17. With parent or guardian approval, young account holders can begin building healthy financial habits while enjoying the convenience and security of digital banking.
